Canadian Care Centres would like to thank all of the residents and their families at the former Blenheim Independent Living residence for their patronage. On Saturday September 22/12, Serenity Barrie Assisted Living held a Alzheimer information session and fundraiser for residents, family, friends and staff. The event was very well attended and provided awareness information and current updates on medical advances. In addition to bringing people together in a warm, caring atmosphere the event raised over $650 for the Alzheimer Society. Many thanks to BlueSky Union Band for the lively entertainment as part of the fundraising event.
